to climate change, the global community has been faced with very frequent and large-scale natural disasters and accidents that exceed human capabilities. Natural disasters that authorities (local, regional, national and European) are called upon to manage effectively with less cost in human lives and less tragic impacts on the social, psycho-emotional and economic life of everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Society in Progress April 9-15, 2024, implemented the approved ERASMUS program for young people entitled &#8220;Preparation and Management of Natural Disasters&#8221;. The PURPOSE of this program was to help youth workers understand the impacts of CLIMATE CHANGE and to introduce participants (individuals and organizations) to the philosophy of PREPAREDNESS and RESPONSE OF NATURAL DISASTERS (earthquakes, fires, floods), so that they can acquire documented and usable knowledge and experience. Upon returning, they will transmit this knowledge to their country and beyond, with the aim of taking measures and taking initiatives to minimize their impacts and for communities to quickly return to satisfactory rates of development.<\/p>\n<p>The program was attended by 48 representatives with and without disabilities, from 17 European organizations (Italy, Malta, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Poland, Turkey, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Portugal, Jordan, France\/Martinica, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Netherlands\/ Caribbean). The program&#8217;s actions were supported by the Technical Chamber of Thessaloniki, EKETA, the Decentralized Administration of Central Macedonia, local authorities and other public and private bodies. The teams of the Greek organizations included students from the KEK AmeA of Lakkia (DYPA former OAED) and the 1st EEEEK of Pylaia &#8211; Chortiatis.<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks are due to the Select Group of Special Missions of the Municipality of Thessaloniki (EPOMEA) who supported with dedication and enthusiasm the actions of the daily program. A daily program with interesting presentations, simulations, action protocols, methods, and innovative practices for the prevention and response to earthquakes, fires and floods.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we
